I want to create trance/dance music. I haven’t the slightest clue as to how it’s done. I would really appreciate some help on this. My guess is it’s mostly computerized software based music with some effects via hardware. Also some links to some tutorials on how to actually create a 5 minute track would kick start my dream of being a DJ who spins his own work. THANKS VERY MUCH!!

First you have to learn the nuances of music. You must know all sorts of music and hace a good taste for it. Then buy the software called VIRTUAL DJ and then you can spin your own music. Good Luck.
I love trance,house,drum n bass.You actually can start by using playstations Music Generator.Or you can get acid 5.0.Their is a college class on computer generated music.Good Luck!!Rave on dude.
