  26. dddfield says:

Let me put quotes around “Net Neutrality” which is what they are calling giving the FCC control of the internet. We do not have “Net Neutrality” but we do have net neutrality. Who is threatening it and how? If your ISP is, then switch companies. If all ISP’s do it someone can make a killing being neutral. If the George Bush’s of the world have control then we are screwed. People with power always create crises in people’s minds and then rush them into situations giving themselves more power.

  27. harryfmk says:

Did you watch the video? We do have net neutrality, which we’re about to lose, that’s the point, they make it a number of times, in the video you’re talking about.

  28. Hughdapu says:

    good times

  29. cutwagman says:

Scare tactics , that’s all this is.

  30. woodwyrm says:

let the internet be neutral, net neutrality über alles!

  31. dddfield says:

You must not have noticed the quotes around “net neutrality” which meant I was referring to this concept of “net neutrality” in which government has more power over internet. If your ISP is doing stuff you don’t like, vote with your feet. The proposals will not leave the internet how it is, but will give it restrictions under the FCC. When government gets involved it always takes more than it gives.

  32. runnerprairie says:

No that is not what is being said. WE do have net neutrality. They are telling you all this because it could be taken away. So yes leave the internet how it is….meaning don’t take net neutrality away.

  33. dddfield says:

We don’t have “net neutrality” and yet the video was still made and you can make comments. Leave the internet alone.

  34. dddfield says:

But the government will have power over the internet. If your isp changes something in a way you don’t like change companies.

  35. runnerprairie says:

If we didn’t have Net neutrality, we wouldn’t be allowed to even make videos like this. The internet is the only thing we have left to fully communicate what we want. Heck we wouldn’t even be able to make comments like this anywhere on the internet.

  36. runnerprairie says:

So you need to understand that this is not about the government having power over the internet….its about ensuring that the isps don’t change the internet from what it is today. Im sorry but i don’t want to pay more for internet than im paying right now.

  37. JediMasterCheryl says:

Well gang, get ready for Mr. President to decide when and where you and I get to enjoy our internet – “in case of an emergency’ as defined by the President’s security council and the Council on Foreign Relations.

    Good Luck….

  38. darrellmellissa says:

Some one should tell youtube to stop censoring.

  39. zt2211 says:

    …There Is No Free Lunch.

  40. dddfield says:

The government is supposed to be limited. “Of the people, by the people, for the people” has nothing to do with our founding documents or principles but was a phrase coined 4 score and 7 years (87) after the start. The founding principles are to limit government power thus letting the people be free. More government just means more chance for power and corruption.

  41. dddfield says:

Web access is not a right. A right can only be claimed without forcing someone else to do something.

  42. refard5 says:

    internet is for porn

  43. m4lvolio says:

When will these idealistic sons’o'bitches realize that the net is for porn ?

  44. xredfox8392x says:

    Constitutional Republic

  45. jigglesnap says:

“Fortunately, there are two opportunities to reign in the FCCs expansive views of its own ancillary jurisdiction. A federal court is considering this important question as part of Comcast’s challenge to the FCC’s order last year regarding interference with BitTorrent traffic (PFF filed a strong amicus brief in the case, arguing against the FCC’s power grab). Or Congress could limit the FCC’s power by authorizing to regulate only to ensure network neutrality.
    ….”

  46. AscottW says:

How would you go about doing it? This legislation is a working plan and until someone comes up with another way to control the ISP’s from wasting my money, I’m for it.

  47. nsewx says:

liberals and anarcho-capitalist, that’s what happened.

  48. tvbruto01 says:

    subtitles, traduction spanish please

  49. prazed1 says:

why is everyone so scared of government control? the government is supposed to be run for and by the people. we need to take our government back from the CORPORATIONS that have STOLEN our FREEDOMS by lining the silver pockets of corrupt politicians. welcome to corporate fascism people, what happened to the democratic republic?
